    In 2013 Big Bash League (BBL) first introduced the LED wickets. After that, the ICC approved the use of this technology for the international matches in July that year. The LED Stumps were first used in the 2014 ICC WorldT20| in Bangladesh. However despite the hefty IPL stump price, they are using this technology to make the game more interesting and engaging.
